Chilli & Lime Grilled Chicken

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4):

For the Marinade:

  • 500g boneless chicken (breast or thigh)
  • 3 tbsp of Picante Chilli & Lime Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp honey (balances heat)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • ½ tsp Picante Smoked paprika Powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander

1️⃣ Prep the Chicken

  • Lightly score thick chicken pieces for better flavor absorption.

2️⃣ Make the Marinade

  • Mix Picante Chilli & Lime Seasoning, garlic, honey, and spices.
  • Coat chicken thoroughly.
  • Cover and marinate for at least 1 hour (best: 4–6 hours refrigerated).

3️⃣ Grill

🔥 Outdoor Grill (Best Flavor):

  • Preheat to medium-high.
  • Grill 5–6 minutes per side.
  • Brush lightly with oil while grilling.

🍳 Grill Pan Method:

  • Cook on medium-high for 10–12 minutes total.
  • Turn occasionally for even char.

🔥 Oven Method:

  • Bake at 200°C for 18–20 minutes.
  • Broil last 2–3 minutes for charred edges.

  • Sprinkle extra lime zest.
  • Add fresh coriander.
