Chicken Tandoori Recipe

🧾 Ingredients:
- 500 g chicken (legs or bone-in pieces)
- 1 cup thick yogurt (curd)
- 2 tbsp Picante Tandoori Masala
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tbsp Picante Chilli & Lime
- 1 tsp Picante Cayenne Pepper Powder (optional)
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp oil or melted butter
- Salt to taste
- For Smoky Flavour: 1 tsp of Picante Smoked Paprika Powder
1. Prepare the Chicken Wash and pat dry the chicken pieces. Make small cuts on the surface so the marinade can absorb better.
2. Prepare the Marinade In a bowl, mix yogurt, Picante Tandoori Masala, ginger-garlic paste, Picante Chilli & Lime, turmeric powder, Picante Cayenne Pepper Powder, Picante Smoked Paprika Powder, salt, and oil to form a smooth paste.
3. Marinate the Chicken Coat the chicken pieces evenly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours (overnight for best flavor).
4. Cook the Chicken
- Oven: Preheat oven to 200°C and bake for 30–35 minutes, turning once.
- Grill: Grill on medium heat for 20–25 minutes until cooked.
- Pan: Cook on medium heat with little oil until tender and slightly charred.
5. Serve Garnish with lemon wedges, onion rings, and fresh coriander.
